Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, Clinic Team Leader

An SJEA employee since 1999, some of Joyce’s many duties as a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA) include performing refractometry, visual field screening, contact lens fittings, and retinal photography and tomography. She is trained in 3D wavefront measurement and mapping, the use of the Epic 2100 Vision Diagnostic System, and on the IOL Master (used for measuring the length of the eye with the best possible accuracy). Joyce is a member of the American Optometric Association.

Joyce, originally from Pittsgrove, is a long-time resident of Hopewell with her husband, Jim and son, Jarrett. She enjoys reading when time permits.
